About Sprout – Your Days are Long EP
About Sprout’s Your Days Are Long EP is an earthy, folk-pop concept album and mostly comprised of noises captured in nature; seagulls, the sound of wind rattling through trees, and water flowing through creeks. The sound effects create an organic feel to this EP, which actually only has a few band performances.
It starts off with an epic introduction and post-rock instrumentals and morphs into a mock Explosions in the Sky with a classic rock twist. I would definitely classify it as folk, but more of an old-school folk.
