Who: Kevin Eaton at your service (aka Phreddy Vomit). I’m a singer songwriter. I play guitar (duh!) I have an ass kicking rhythm section (finally) Gabe Taylor on drums and Bobby Lind on bass. We play originals and some covers Old School punk rock. I came to Bad Town via Seattle from Atlanta GA – I’ve been in the Pacific Northwest for the past 22 years.
What: I am a firm adherent to the Rock N Roll Code as learned to me by Luigi Scorcia; Hang Lose, Be Cool, and Don’t Admit to Nothing, thus my tendency to fly way below the radar. I don’t think that Bobby or Gabe need any introduction.
When: I started singing when I was 3 or 4 to my dad’s Ed Ames records, and my cousin’s Beatles 45s. I learned guitar playing Ramones and Neil Young tunes when I was 19. In my early twenties, (’82-’83) I started singing in punk bands in Atlanta GA. In ’84 I met Luigi Scorcia who had played with Johnny Thunders in NY. He taught me much about attacking the instrument.
Where: Fast-forward 16 years. I came to Bellingham in 1999, and have been plagued with amateurs for too long. I met Gabe in ’03 at the 3B. We started jamming together Sept of ’09 with Bobby on bass. I hate name-dropping as I find it rude and in bad taste.
